Title Process Improvement Specialist
Description PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Process Identification and Assessment: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document existing business processes. • Conduct thorough process analysis to understand current workflows, pain points, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies. • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations for process improvements. 2. Process Redesign and Improvement: • Utilize industry best practices and methodologies to develop innovative and efficient process redesign recommendations. • Design and model future-state processes, incorporating automation, digitization, and other relevant technologies to optimize performance. • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure the feasibility and integration of proposed process enhancements. 3. Data-Driven Insights: • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization. • Develop insightful reports and presentations that highlight key findings and propose actionable solutions. 4. Change Management: • Develop comprehensive change management plans to facilitate the smooth transition from current to future-state processes. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate changes, manage expectations, and address concerns. 5. Continuous Improvement: • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and gather feedback from stakeholders. • Identify opportunities for ongoing enhancements and lead iterative process refinement efforts. 6. Documentation and Training: • Create detailed documentation of redesigned processes, including standard operating procedures, workflows, and guidelines. • Develop training materials and provide training sessions to ensure successful adoption of new processes by bank employees. 7. Collaboration and Communication: • Foster strong working relationships with business units, technology teams, and other relevant stakeholders. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
Qualification Must have a relevant degree in a related field preferably within the Banking or Financial Services sector. Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently. Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or PMP will be an advantage.
Experience Three (3) years’ work experience as a Business Process Analyst or in a similar role. Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services, proficiency in process modelling and analysis tools (e.g., BPMN, Six Sigma).
Salary $36,450
