Title Network & Infrastructure Administrator (Re-advertised)
Description PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain and sustain network agility - the speed at which FDB network can adapt to changes while maintaining resiliency, robustness, security, and management simplicity. Ensure near-zero disruption and maximum uptime; • Full Active Directory Management – user account management and allocation of proper accesses and privileges to relevant network resources; • Provide conducive IT-enabled work environment that empowers end-users to be more productive; • Supervise and mentor IT Support Officers to ensure quality and efficient end-user support is available and provided to the Bank’s end-user community; • Closely monitor daily Help Desk status report to ensure outstanding issues are dealt with swiftly and efficiently; • Monitoring and management of the Bank’s telecommunication infrastructure noting and updating Manager ICT routinely about performance, outages, bottlenecks and capacity; • Make recommendations related to purchasing and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment that will improve and add value to the IT operation; • Manage security – both for the desktop and the datacenter environment; • Software Update and Patch Management – ensure the Bank’s environment always run on the latest version of software, patches and updates to minimize vulnerability; • Backup and Disaster Recovery – ensure critical data are backed up on schedule and according to plan, both in-house and offsite; • Participates in the drafting and review of relevant policies, standard operating procedures, and resource allocations to ensure standard network performance is attained; • Enforces IT best practice and educate employees about compliance issues; • In liaison with the Manager ICT to develop and implement an annual work plan for the infrastructure support team • Have input into creating the team’s annual budget and ensure the team’s services are delivered within the agreed budget
Qualification • A Degree in Computing Science/Information Systems and/or similar discipline • Project management • Cisco Accreditation/Certification • VMWare Accreditation/Certification • Microsoft Accreditation/Certification
Experience • Hands-on technical experience of at least 5 years in similar role and in similar environment • Support for large user base multi-site/branch environment • Support for VoIP telephony and MPLS infrastructure • Managing primary data center with high-availability co-location (offsite DR) • Management of the Virtual Environment – VMWare • Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure • End-point Security and DLP • Firewall and Edge Security Management – Fortinet Solution • Cloud Migration/Solution
