Ovalau Agro Photovoltaic Project Assistant (Re-advertised)

Description
|
• Accounting, monitoring and reporting (accurate recording, verification and reporting) of financial activities of the AgroPV Project as guided by the AgroPV Project Manager and applicable FDB policies and procedures and applicable agreements signed by both, the FDB and the GCF.
• Under guidance of by the AgroPV Project Manager, coordinate procurement activities of the APV project in compliance with applicable FDB policies and procedures and applicable agreements signed by the FDB and the GCF.
• Facilitate AgroPV project related monitoring, audit and evaluation activities and ensure that recommendations made in monitoring, audit and/or evaluation reports are implemented.
• Support the AgroPV Project Manager in coordinating the implementation of the APV project, including as regards organization of and follow up to meetings.

Qualification
|
Bachelor’s Degree in Financial and Management Accounting.
|
Experience
|
• Min 5 years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting procedures. Experience with large projects such as AgroPV ($10M USD in grant and loan funding) is considered an advantage
• Experience with procurement procedures.
• Understanding of monitoring, auditing and evaluation procedures.
• In addition, the following skills are required: proactive work style, team integration, excellent communication skills, excellent command of English, relationship building, persuasive influencer and demonstrate ability to learn and grow on the job with little supervision.
