Title Media & Communications Officer
Description 1. Prepare and implement the Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the Bank. 2. Respond immediately to media queries and public concerns in a responsible manner. 3. Prepare all printed public relations material; internal and external newsletters, customer profiles and Annual Report. 4. Organize all Bank functions and events, serving as the Master of Ceremony. 5. Establish strong contacts in the media who can support and promote the Bank’s developmental role and activities and its impact on the lives of people and form strong alliances with Government and other agencies with which work is conducted on a regular basis. Network with strategic partners, stakeholders to initiate and bring a project to fruition. 6. Ensure that the Public Relations activities are monitored and reports are completed on a timely basis and are of superior standard. 7. Identify, create opportunities, develop and deliver effective brand, marketing and communications strategies for the Bank. 8. Develop effective marketing and communication collateral/merchandise, including brochures, letters, emails and websites to support marketing campaigns and initiatives. 9. Plan, implement and monitor the Banks’ participation and involvement under the various external stakeholder’s initiatives and internal social responsibilities. 10. Engage in activities to promote the Bank’s internal and external relationships to grow the Bank’s business
Qualification A Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
Experience Shall have at least 3 years’ experience in similar field of work. At least 2 years of consistent high performance in previous work.
Salary Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
