Title Administration Officer - Insurance, Central Eastern
Description PURPOSE: To provide administrative functions in the Insurance Department in terms of inserting, placing, monitoring, and maintaining insurance coverage on the assets taken as security. The incumbent shall arrange the renewal of insurance cover(s) and ensure that relevant insurance data is accurate at all times. To ensure that client(s) policy (ies) and subsequent current certificates are properly filed in respective client(s) insurance packets. To take ownership of all insurance business in the Bank. To promote the role of the Bank as an Insurance Agent. NATURE & SCOPE: This position reports to the Insurance Officer and receives written and verbal direction from this individual. This position also receives indirect guidance from General Manager Relationship & Sales. Insurance Department is a Profit Centre under the Relationship & Sales Division. The officer has portfolio(s) to manage and is responsible for the perfection of policy(ies). This will entail liaison with the Bank’s business units and insurers/brokers for the maintenance of the department’s overdue and incomplete reports.
Qualification A Diploma in Business Studies or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
Experience At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Salary $21,845 - $32,768
